Student Employment System

Managed by the Centre for Student Financial Assistance, the SMU Student Employment System (SES) is a user-friendly, hassle-free online system where employers can make job postings and SMU undergraduates can have access to temporary job opportunities.

SES is password secured, ensuring that the privacy of employers and students are protected at all times. It acts like an e-marketplace, where both organizations and students can trade information. With this system, employers with part-time/temporary job opportunities can provide undergraduates with details about their corporate businesses, services and job opportunities. SMU students, through such work opportunities, can fund their education through their own efforts and hard work, and hence fosters in them a sense of self-worth rather than relying on direct hand-outs.
